Warrick Stanfield, owner of R.A.G. Contracting and Engineering, built this rig, mounted on the back of a Ford F350 all wheel drive in late 2006. This rig was purpose built to fill a requirement in the industry as a light weight, manageable, Auger/RAB rig, highly suitable environmentally for low impact and for preliminary target drilling purposes. The rigs versatility comes complete with Auger, Blade and Rock Hammer facility.

This rig is highly suitable for most calcrete sample programs. As a small RAB rig it is suitable for most drill programs to a maximum depth of 50 metres with both blade and rock hammer bits.

Auger diameters are 5" with a maximum drill depth of 16 metres and 8" with a maximum drill depth of 1.2 metres. Blade bit diameters are 3 1/8", 3 7/8", and 4 3/8". Rock Hammer diameters are 3" and 3 1/2". Maximum drill depths for Blade and Rock Hammer bits is 50 metres.
